Dog Disposition/Behavior

The Client agrees and affirms that the Client has provided Game On Dog Training complete and accurate information about the Dog, including habits, health, behavior, temperament, and any other matters that may impact the Client’s suitability for group classes and/or risk of injury to the Dog, other dogs, and people.

If the Client is unsure as to the behavior of the Dog around other people or other dogs, the Client agrees to first book an Exploratory Chat and/or a Behavioral Consultation with Game On Dog Training to determine the best class placement for the Dog (regular fees apply).

By registering for and attending any offering by Game On Dog Training that involves more than one dog present, the Client agrees that their dog has not shown any signs of aggression toward other animals or other people, or has been cleared by Game On Dog Training to be in attendance.

The Client understands and agrees that at any point, Game On Dog Training may ask the Client and the Dog to leave the course, class, or event if the Dog shows any behavior of concern at the complete and total discretion of Game On Dog Training.

Agreement to Hold Harmless, Waiver, And Assumption of Risk

The Client understands that attendance and participation in a dog training environment, including but not limited to Group Classes, 1-to-1 Private Sessions, Seminars, Demonstrations, and Special Events are not without some risk to him/herself, members of his/her family, guests who may attend, or to the Dog.

The Client certifies that they have been informed and understand that there is always some unavoidable risk of injury involved when working with animals in general, and dogs specifically, especially those with behavioral issues.

Though Game On Dog Training screens dogs prior to entering classes, it is not a perfect science. Dogs can be unpredictable, especially in a novel environment.

The Client understands that Game On Dog Training will provide the Client with specific directions as to where to park, when to remove the Dog from the vehicle, how to set up the Client’s station, and when to enter with the Dog, which MUST be followed precisely to ensure the highest level of safety.

The Client hereby waives and releases Game On Dog Training, its employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which the Client or the Dog may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and the Client expressly assumes the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session, or any other function, of Game On Dog Training, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.

In consideration of and as claims or to the acceptance of my application for training membership by Game On Dog Training, the Client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Game On Dog Training, its employees, officers, members, and agents from any and all claims, or claims by any member of any family or any other person accompanying the Client to any training session or function to the Training Organization, or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own.

Missed Class & Rescheduling Policy

Each class builds on the previous class in a course, so it’s crucial that you commit to attending each class.

The Client agrees to check his/her schedule before signing up for a course to ensure there are no upcoming events during the 3, 4, or 6-week course. If the Client is not sure or has questions, the Client will reach out to the instructor prior to registering.

Game On Dog Training understands things come up, so in the event that the Client has an obligation that conflicts with one of the classes, the Client agrees to speak with Game On Dog Training to discuss a solution as soon as possible.

The Client may be able to make up the class with an alternate class of the same name as there are often two classes running at the same time with different start dates. This fully depends on how the schedules work out.

The Client may instead opt to book a 1-to-1 private session (normal fees apply) so that the Client can catch up on the material missed.

Get Outta’ Jail Free Card: Allows the Client the opportunity to make up one class within the course by attending the paired online class. The Client will receive a review of the previous session's content and learn a new game.

Multiple Missed Classes: If the Client misses more than one class and/or none of the above options work for the Client, Game On Dog Training may request that the Client “sit and stay”, postponing training to the next class series.

Payment/Fees

The Client shall pay Game On Dog Training the agreed-upon fee, as described via Game On Dog Training’s registration process, prior to any class attendance.

All offers purchased must be used within 6-months of purchasing.

Refund Policy

Game On Dog Training is dedicated to the Client and the Dog’s learning, enjoyment, and satisfaction with our training program. If the Client has any questions regarding the course or classes, the Client must get in contact with Game On Dog Training as soon as possible to resolve any concerns.

Space is limited, so the Client must commit to the whole class series so that everyone has the same opportunity to participate (length of the class series will depend on the class you choose). Dropping out before completing the series means that the space the Client left cannot be filled until the next series begins.

Game On Dog Training would be shocked if the Client did not LOVE our program. However, if after starting a course or classes, the Client feels they cannot continue, Game On Dog Training will refund up to 50% of the series (not including any credit card processing fees).

For example, if the Client signed up for a 4-week course and only completed one class, the Client would be refunded no more than two classes.

Gaurantee/Warranty

While Game On Dog Training seeks to support the Client in training the Dog to meet the Client’s goals and preferences, the Client recognizes that animal behavior is unpredictable, and animals may develop unforeseen health or temperament issues, or turn out to be unsuited to the Client’s expectations or goals.

The Client understands and agrees that Game On Dog Training offers no guarantees or express/implied warranties with regard to assessment, recommendations, training, and/or products or services, and that the same do not carry a guarantee of effectiveness with the Dog and/or of meeting the Client’s training, behavior, or working/service dog goals.

Photo/Video Waiver

The Client understands and agrees that the Client and/or the Dog may be videotaped and/or photographed during classes, consultations, or events.

Such photographs or videos, including the Client’s and the Dog’s likeness, image, voice, appearance, and written communications, along with the Client’s and the Dog’s name, may be used by Game On Dog Training for website, social media, promotion, publicity, or other digital or written materials.

If the Client does NOT want Game On Dog Training to use digital materials publicly, the Client must indicate this on the Behavioral Assessment in the specified field.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida.
